My studio is across the street from a cow pasture. The pasture affords many opportunities for subject matter with its gentle hills and large and small trees. One autumn morning I quickly sketched this image and made some colour notes. In the studio, I painted the image on an 8x10 inch panel in the colours I remembered from earlier in the day. Lots of warm, rich hues.

The painting is now available as a reproduction of the original. The image is the full painting size of 8x10 but it’s surrounded by a 1 inch white border which gives you a clean mat look ready for framing.

The image is printed on fine art paper and is shipped flat.
